Brogdale

The masterplan is for a pioneering visitor centre around the National Fruit Collection and a centre for local food and produce. The overall theme is Plants and People. Heritage is being shown in a series of some 20 historic fruit gardens displaying the history of fruit cultivation around the world. This sets the context for gardens with contemporary fruit and food production and the future of food. The visitor centre and shops with local produce will use the latest techniques to bring it to life at all times of the year.
